A planned new low-carbon power station at SSE Thermal's Peterhead site in Aberdeenshire could generate significant benefits to the Scottish and UK economies over its lifetime, according to a new report.Major milestones have been reached at two of SSE Group's most symbolic net zero UK infrastructure projects. A major green jobs boost has been announced by SSEN Transmission, the Perth-based energy firm responsible for the transmission network across the north of Scotland, with 400 new jobs expected to be created over the next year.
