I started doing business with the company in March. The sales representative was great, and my initial account manager provided outstanding service. (Later I would find out both of the quality employees I dealt with left the company.) For this company to be considered a professional payroll service, I was caught off guard by the lack of professionalism. A simple example is someone different answering the office phone without giving their name.
I found it concerning that it took EBC three different employees to process prevailing wage payroll. I switched my payroll service from in-house to a third party to ease the workload on my staff when dealing with prevailing rate jobs; unfortunately, my staff did not see any relief. My most recent account manager consistently misinterpreted clear instructions more often than I would like. I found it very difficult to get in contact with the company when I had an issue.
I was disheartened by their customer service when attempting to resolve the issue. This does not feel like the same company I signed on to in March. I would recommend other businesses to look at other options when looking for a payroll provider.

I have been extremely impressed with EBC since switching to them from one of the larger payroll companies. The entire team is always there helping me navigate through payroll & HR's complicated, and ever-changing regulations. I highly recommend anyone looking for payroll and HR support to turn to EBC. They are also a family owned & operated company which I love to support unlike the other payroll providers out there.

I partnered EBC Payroll Solutions in January of 2021. Throughout this time I've had the privilege of working with Jeff who was my initial Sales Representative. Several months ago Stephanie became my point of contact and she has certainly maintained the same level of professionalism Jeff brought to the partnership which speaks volumes for these two individuals as well as the company. I could not go on without mentioning Nicole the Receptionist who is ultimately responsible for connecting the pieces to make this partnership happen, so a special thanks to her also.

Since switching to EBC I have been very impressed with both their Payroll and HR team. They constantly update us on new regulations and are a more cost efficient service than my prior payroll company. I also love that I can stop in and pick up my paychecks.
