I needed a pin fixed in my laptop's charging port. One look and the proprietor said the pin was crushed and shorting out. Mind you I took this same Dell laptop to Best Buy and was told my 3 year old laptop was beyond repair and I needed to purchase a new laptop ( from them coincidentally). The Proprietor quoted me $55.00 for parts and labor and had it fixed in a week. I also ordered a new battery which costs $43.00 and he will install in a week for zero labor cost. I would definitely go to this business again. They are honest and prompt.

Terry, the owner, actually used to come to my father's home to help an elderly man that doesn't know much about computers. Then he is told (due to covid) that there won't be anymore field visits. So, my father and I dropped off an i7 HP laptop about a year ago. After numerous calls which all went to voicemail, his secretary answered once and only said, "I saw it on the bench, I think he was working on it." Now this is 4-5 months after I dropped it off. Beforehand, he had diagnosed it needed simply a motherboard and the bill was going to be $250.00 or so if I remember right, and my dad left payment.

At any rate, it's been over a year, he blocked my cell phone, and I was able to prove this as my mom and my dad both called his number and it rang and went to voicemail. Nobody ever answered or returned our calls. All I want is my laptop back, repaired or not and I guess I'll be filing small claims court tomorrow.

They have been established in this area for whilee. I have my own business Herkimer IT Field Services they have assisted with hardware items. I do mostly retail corp. They service local businesses with any kind of hardware or software.

You work directly with the owner. He is always willing to take the time and explain to you what's happening. I have used him several times over the years. He has a interesting doorbell that announces before you get to the door. Give him a try. You will be happy.
