Providenza & Boekelheide

Providenza & Boekelheide is a small technical consulting firm based in Tigard, Oregon. We've fled the larger corporate life for a small company environment so we can focus on what we do best - helping people solve computer related problems without getting sucked into office politics. Although our forte is Windows hardware and software development and Internetworking, we enjoy working on a diverse range of projects. We've written graphics drivers, video codecs, mail programs, benchmarks, debuggers, installation scripts, and application programs.

Providenza & Boekelheide, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in software, hardware, and network design and development. Our development experience provides a unique perspective for optimizing and managing tradeoffs between software and hardware. We provide hardware design and development services.

Although P&B does not offer software for sale, we have produced several useful tools and programs that we make available as a public service. The Cinepak Codec was created by the P&B team. Here you can find the most recent 16-bit and 32-bit versions of Cinepak, as well as versions for some obscure processors.

P&B offers a range of hardware design services ranging from ASIC development to board level design. Our broad background in both hardware and software provides a unique synergy that allows both design optimization and clear insight into many potential problems.
