Next Century provides technology solutions for small to mid-size businesses in Michigan's Upper Peninsula-specifically in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Next Century, located in Houghton, Michigan (home of Michigan Tech University), started as a computer sales and service office, and since its start in the mid-1990's has expanded its services to include a wide range of home and business technologies, including: computers (sales/service/maintenance contracts), networking systems/servers, telephone systems, video/audio applications, surveillance/security systems, point-of-sale equipment, premise wiring, etc.
We service and upgrade existing PCs and laptops of all brands; Apple & Macintosh computers/laptops too. We'll take on any repair challenge, and have performed repairs on anything from very outdated computers to VCR tape players. We offer data recovery, even in situations such as fire damage, and have a high success rate of retrieving valuable "lost" data.
Whether building a new restaurant, installing a projector at a church, or creating the ultimate home system, Next Century has experience with various audio/video systems. We select equipment based on your business needs, and provide a quote for your new system. If you are building at a new location or want to add sound to your current location, we can help. New construction - please contact us as early in the project as possible. The more (and sooner!) we collaborate with other contractors, the better.
Next Century Technologies offers networking services and all the supplies to create an effective network. Networking allows offices (or home computers) to share files, share printers, manage users from one location, collaborate with e-mail and calendars, etc. We've networked offices of varying sizes - computers and devices, allowing more effective use of time and equipment. We also offer advice on Internet Service Providers: DSL, Cable, Wireless, Dial-up, and Satellite.
