As a former employee, I feel it necessary to inform potential customers of the sketchy and possibly illegal practices that went on here. The company takes non-profit donations and then resells them to the non-profit business for an extreme markup as well as attempted to sell them to normal for-profit businesses. At the time they were selling donated laptops back to a particular non-profit for around $2,400 apiece as well as keeping some of the laptops personally and trying to selling them to other for-profit customers. The company has lost 90% of its employees in the past 6 months because of extremely poor management, and I cannot see this company surviving the year.

I like working with Hawaii Tech Support. They helped me install a new server for my accounting software and corrected some issues I had with my server from a previous vendor. Their service department is very friendly and are easy to get in contact with. I spoke with the owner of the company and he took the time to really explain what my options were and was very patient with me.

I work on the management team at a contracting company with about 90 employees. In our office, we have a network of about 40 stations and there is always something that someone needs or one of the machines malfunctions. Hawaii Tech Support has been our IT partner for the past year and has been a great service for our IT needs. They are very knowledgable and have the most respectable team members.

The best thing I like about them is their responsiveness. Once you call in or even shoot them an email, you get a response right away. Even sometimes during the middle of the night I get responses from them. There is a lot of passion and care going on at HTS and it shows. Congratulations to the Hawaii Tech Support team for running such a great company and we look forward to more years of great service! Mike

I was visiting family around Thanksgiving and my beloved son (16 months at the time) decided it would be fun to pull on MaMa (Grandma's) laptop cord and pull the laptop off the dining table! MaMa and YeYe (Grandpa) were VERY gracious to their grandson and were glad that he wasn't hurt. I insisted on paying for the repair, but they refused.

So I tried to be a good daughter-in-law and called the computer repair company that they frequently use, Hawaii Tech Support, and arranged the repair as soon as possible. The office manager was courteous and professional and gave me a good price. Even though my father-in-law dropped the computer off at their office himself, the office manager worked with my request to pay for the repair before he got the bill. :) I know my in-laws honestly didn't mind paying for it, but I didn't want them to pay for the repair, when my son caused it. They're so generous with us all the time anyway. The repair was done quickly and they worked with my request to pay on behalf of my in-laws, so I am happy with how they worked with me in this particular interaction.
