Jon was our technician and after connecting to our computer for nearly an hour, he broke the news that the computer needed to be replaced instead of repaired. He found us a great deal on a new laptop from Amazon, helped us order it, and didn't even charge us for his time since "nothing was fixed". When the new laptop came, we called him back and he helped us set it up and copy our files over. He even showed us how to use the Windows 10 so I wouldn't be confused. We'll definitely request him in the future.
