I've taken two devices in to Geek tech to have the screens replaced they were fixed promptly, there pricing is competitive but for a well done job. On the second device I took in I had to leave town unexpectedly, so the device stayed with them for about a month, what was cool about them was that they didn't hound me to come pick it up or charge me more for holding it so long. Excellent service

So I literally just called to see how much it would be to get a computer repaired and all I was doing was asking questions and this girl got an attitude with me and before I can say anything else she just said have a good one and hung up no wonder they are only 3 stars smh

My niece accidentally broke my laptop screen and came here to fix it. The guy in the front was super nice and straight forward. He told me it would be around $200 and I was like okay not too bad. He told me it would take around a week for it to be finished and that he'll call me. A week passes by and they call me telling me that my screen is definitely broke and they will order a new screen and they raised my price to $300.

So it took them a week for them to tell my screen is broken? I already knew that. I remained calm and waited another week and they called me to tell me that it would be $400 because they order "apple" products. Basically at the end of the MONTH. In total I paid $600. The price went from $200 to $600! I will definitely will not be returning to this place.

My screen was definitely replaced but there is gaps where I can see the light peeking through. the people were nice but kept raising the price $100 every phone call I would receive. RESPONSE: I made this review late because I didn't have a google account before! I never said that you saved me $2,000 nor was it a MacBook Pro. Yes the screen got replaced but there are gaps of light peeking through around it. It took over a month to fix not 10 days. Also you guys kept raising the price with every phone call I would get, kinda ridiculous but okay.

Very pleased! I damaged my screen pretty bad, I was honestly not sure if it was even fixable but they did it and it's good as new! Took them about 30 minutes to replace my screen! The lady who assisted me today was very friendly and nice. They're a bit pricier than some other places but their quality and customer service show why. Overall a great experience and will be my new go to place for tech repairs.

Glad they're in business but they're rather lose money than make it. A complete misunderstanding led to me getting charge 100 to fix my phone than the 60 I was quoted. Walked away with a broken screen anyway and they didn't make a buck. Front staff is pretty cool though, she was pleasant, apologetic, and super nice. The one that put my broken screen back not so much. I would recommend them as king as they give you the quote in writing.

Had to fix my cracked phone screen to transfer my data unto my new phone. Called different places and Geek Tech had the best price. They always answered when I called and saved me money! I highly recommend them!

Great service. I trust them and the work they do. Quickly returned my tablet and phone. A little more costly than another place we took a phone before.but they actually fixed the phone a second time after taking it to the cheaper place and it was till not fixed. "You get what you pay for", is definitely fitting here.

Twice have we.taken phones in to be serviced and.diagnosed, and twice have been let down. Sad. Incompetent staff is all I can say. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

I took my laptop in about a year ago because it would not turn on. I had no idea what was wrong, I had it for half a year(it was brand new), then it sat on a shelf for a year, never being touched in that time. I brought it in, and after taking twice the time to look at it than I was originally quoted, I was told it could not be fixed. I blindly accepted that and stuck it back in storage without even looking at it.

Normally I would not write a review after so long, but I recently learned a bit about fixing computers myself, so I decided to pull it out and see what I could do. Oh. My. God. The port that the power cord plus into is missing entirely(there is just a big hole there where it used to be, and it was definitely there when I took it in), there are missing bits on the inside, pieces that won't fit anymore because they've been broken off, etc.

They mutilated my computer. I desperately wish I had checked immediately after getting it back, because this was an expensive computer and at the very least I would like to have gotten the pieces back that are missing. After realizing what had been done to it, and coming here to read other reviews, it is obvious that they like to take advantage of people they think won't notice. I do not recommend coming here if you value your tech.

I came in with hardware issues for a Macbook Pro. They told me it would take an hour to perform a $90 cleaning. I was totally okay with that. However, It took over a day. They call to tell me it's a software issue and that they would need to partition my data reinstall the OS, and install "anti popup software" (?). I explained that I had already tried that. Nope.

They still needed my password which I'm not legally authorized to give. As we were cancelling my ticket on their computer, I noticed that 0 hours and 0 minutes were spent on my job. I ended up opening the computer myself and cleaning it out with compressed air. Since I didn't have all the proper tools it took longer than I would have liked, but 2/3 issues I came in with were solved. It turns out the other issue is covered free by Apple.

Best tech repair shop I've ever been to. I have been coming to geek tech for years now and they never disappoint. I have gotten computers, I pads, I phones repaired here, computer software update and downloads, they can do it all. Fast service, professional employees and modern shop. Highly recommend for any tech needs.

They may have helped me out in the past before. But now I dont reccomend now. I was supposed to have them order a part for me that was originally $200 on sale but they deliberately waited for the item to get off of its sale and were going to charge me $450 for it.

The experience was amazing! Very friendly and fixed my cracked iPhone in 1 hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a fix for their broken device. Excellent quality and not a problem in the phone. Love this place.

I should have read the reviews first! I took my computer for repair, and they told me it was the battery. They also said it was in stock. I left my laptop there and logged off. I did Not give them my password since I figured they could log in as a guest. They later called me to tell me I'd have to wait until a new battery arrived because the ones they "claimed" to have in stock were defective.

No problem, I waited! When I went to pick up the laptop several days later, the machine was on, meaning they had logged on -- remember I did not give them my password. When I questioned, asking how they had logged on, the manager claimed I must have given the PW to them. He checked the notes and there was nothing there. He claimed he could check the surveillance tapes to prove I had left the computer on -- change of Story.

I told him I did use it there but assured him I had logged off. He said that giving them the PW is a must anyway, and if he had known that I didn't trust him with my PW, he would've told me to go somewhere else -- he proceeded to make a "leave" gesture with his hand. Rude! I paid and got out of there! If some of my files or info appears somewhere unauthorized, I know where it came from. Shady! Rude! Shady! Take your business somewhere else!

I called first thing in the morning to have my I phone battery replaced asking if they had my battery in stock. The female who answered assured me they had it, well 10 hours later i had to go to the store just to find out they were wating on the battery to be delivered. Terrible communication and customer service. I will never use this place.

The people I dealt with either didn't know what they were doing or were not listening. I went there to have hard drives removed from two computers. They changed my request and wanted to charge me $60 to copy images and documents only, onto a flash drive, and they claimed one of the two computers didn't work even though I told them it took several times to get it started.

It had been working before I brought it to them. If they had listened to me and got it booted properly, then copied images and documents from that drive, it would have been another $60. NO WAY! So I guess they would have charged me $120 for something I never asked them for. All I wanted was to have them remove and hand me the hard drives. In the end they came by my place, put the computers on my porch and practically ran off; they didn't even stop for 30 seconds to talk with me, I'm sure because they knew I would tell them how dissatisfied I was.

I cannot recommend this place at all. I definitely will not even go there to buy new products, let alone get something repaired. Too bad, because if they were good, there's almost no competition in Porterville.

This place is garbage. The team has horrible communication and nobody has a clue of what they're repairing. They take forever for basic things. And their customer service is horrible. I took a computer in and they erased everything without my permission and tried to charge double what I was quoted.

Had geek tech replace an LCD & screen, when I picked up my phone the new LCD made my screen appear dull and gray, the touch response on the screen was horrible! The screen and LCD broke after dropping phone once

Friendly, reliable and trust worthy! Geek Tech Team did a great job connecting all of my business hardware. The pricing was very reasonable, for the work that was being completed. After leaving the iPad for nearly a week and contacting upper management my mom's iPad was finally repaired. I appreciate them making it right. When their customer service skills and length of time it it takes for a repair improve I can rate them more than 2 stars.

I took my wife's iPhone 6s in to have the lightning port replaced because her phone was not charging. Geek Tech had the parts on hand and had the phone repaired in just a few hours. There was an issue with the new part but Eli was quick to resolve the issue.

This place deserves zeros stars, ABSOLUTELY do not go here! I took my phone to get the LCD and screen replaced paid $130 and that night the screen cracked by just leaving it in the car. The girl told me if anything happens in a month to bring it back. I went the next day and they said they couldn't fix it since the screen was cracked when the girl clearly said bring it back if I have any problems. Also, they told me that they could give me a discount of $20 and pay for it all over again, why waist my money for them to mess it up again. Worst repair shop I have ever been too, DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME on this joke of a store!

Whenever you feel like dropping off your electronics to their death with no sense of reliability, professionalism, or even responsibility. Go to Geek Tech Team! When you want it to be fixed correctly, luckily there are other shops locally. (When the only Positive Reviews left is the employees themselves and 2 close friends of Managers is a HUGE red flag.)

As a Real Estate Professional, it is extremely important all my tools be operating at peak efficiency. Time is literally money! When my computer and/or cell phone are not, without hesitation I turn to Geek Tech Team. Eli and his crew are absolutely the best! I first dealt with Eli about 3 years ago. From the very beginning, he and his people were professional, knowledgeable, and punctual.

What they said they would do they did which is very important to me since I rely very heavily on people keeping their word. And it gets better. His quotes, his prices, I found to be reasonable. Just like any business, including my association at Five Star Realty, it's critical to the profitability of my business to keep costs as low as possible. I know I can count on Eli not over charging me. Because of that, I don't have to shop around because I'm convinced Eli's prices are as good as can be. Kudos to Eli and the crew at Geek Tech Team!
