I would highly recommend ComputerWorks to anyone. A big box store service department was unable to identify what was wrong with my PC while having it for a week, I went and picked it up and took it to Computer Works late in the afternoon. Not only were they able to repair my PC, but they had it ready for me the following morning after also installing a second hard drive. And all for a quite reasonable price. It was simply a pleasure doing business with them.

Great service and very friendly staff. Had an emergency with my primary business laptop. They fixed it within 5 hours and it's good as new. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good about this place. I brought in the pitiful guts of a home build gone wrong and they were able to tell me exactly which component was preventing it from POSTing. The fee was very reasonable and the work was done only a few hours later. I also got some valuable advice for substitute components to order and how to improve my build in the future.

This is just a great business to work with. Reasonable prices and totally honest. I brought in my circa 2012 Dell Inspiron 17.3 laptop which was so agonizingly slow I decided it was time for a new computer at a cost of some $800. Then I read about their upgrade options on their website. For $260 they installed a new 500 GB solid state drive & upgraded to Windows 10.

It's so fast now & much more secure vs Windows 7 it's like having a brand new computer! I had also asked them to check the battery because it's old. They could have easily told me it needed a new battery but they told me it was still working fine - they're very honest & trustworthy. On top of all this, the work was done in one day. They were also very patient in answering all of my questions. I highly recommend Computer Works!

My computer hard drive began to fail and would not allow my computer to boot up. I was very concerned as I had many important documents, photos, and music I accumulated over the past 10 years. I took the computer to Computer Works and dealt with Dave. He was professional and friendly with excellent customer service. He diagnosed the issue and then gave me options on how to proceed with no pressure. Answered all my questions too.

I decided I was going to buy a new computer, so he extracted all my documents for me and even answered questions about a new laptop I was looking at. I had a great experience and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Dave.

Always been my top computer repair store. Remember when this store was first located in Sylvan Lake where I bought my supplies for building my own PC. They moved later to Keego Harbor where they repaired my computer of viruses and upgraded the system. Again, moved now to West Bloomfield. Still to this day, they do top quality work repairing most all electronics devices and give good recommendations and advice. Highly recommend .

I've been coming here for various repairs for years-- mostly upgrades or virus repairs on an old desktop I refused to get rid of and way passed its prime. I finally purchased a custom new computer from them this year and it was a great experience-- the service and data transfer was super fast and the final product well beyond what I could have imagined. I am so grateful for computer works! I had deleted a years worth of pictures on an old PC and I called so many places that were not hopeful that I could ever recover them. Nice guys. Competitive prices, but they go above and beyond. They even updated my software while they had my computer for a screen repair. My laptop was returned a whole week earlier than promised, and the repair costs were quoted accurately. There were no surprises. My laptop looks better than when I dropped it off - a previous place had left it scratched and dented, and here they did the absolute best to keep it looking great.
