Introduced in 2002/2003 at a cost of $4,000 when the cheapest CMTS was over $22,000, this product line provided a financially viable option for many small MSO's and MDU operators to provide Internet over cable. This enabled an additional revenue option for these operators. With a few thousand of these units installed over the last 14 years and new technologies available, we regret to inform that this product has reached its end of life.
