Services
The MSHELL engine is at the core of all ACT products and provides powerful processing, visualization and analysis capabilities. The software suite and core MSHELL engine is a product of more than three decades of research and development. The products are designed to perform in high-volume geospatial data environments and ACT continuously enhances the software to meet new and changing mission management, operations and scientific requirements.
The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) mission was launched in the summer of 2009 as part of NASA's Lunar Precursor and Robotic Program (LPRP) and is the first spacecraft to be built as part of the Vision for Space Exploration. ACT played a central role in development and on-going execution of the ground data system, including the definition of CRISM's data products and the data-calibration pipeline.
