First time at Amura WOW our server Casey was Fabulous, our rolls Amazing, and the ambiance was perfect! This is definitely a place you have to go to multiple times to enjoy all the sushi dishes! 5

RAW CHICKEN! Ordered fiery chicken, took a few bites before noticing that the chicken was raw. I paid 18$ to get food poisoning.disgusting, do better! I'm glad my children didn't take a bite.

$27 for a small portion of chicken. Just drive a few more miles to Fujiyama in Orange City for a much better experience.

Listen, I know I'm giving this place a 3 out of 5 but please let me explain why. Several of the dishes I ordered lacked serious flavor, don't know if it is a cook issue because I've visited this place more than 5 times. My fried rice came out with no flavor at all, looked very blah.the taste was super blah. I hate that this seems like a bashing of the place but the sushi definitely hit the spot. If you are a sushi lover this is a place to get some good sushi. I really enjoy there volcano roll! If you roll through lake mary, make sure to stop in and have some rolls!

I dined in a little while ago, and I had Christian as my server. He did an exceptional job! He was hilarious while staying professional. My friend and I had an amazing experience because of his humor and knowledge of the menu, recommending just the item to my liking. Thanks to him, we'll be back to request him again soon.

Had a really great experience Saturday night. Excellent sushi, great wine and cocktail options.

Our sushi was good. Which is why they received a two star. Everything else was less than good. From the meals we ordered form the kitchen were not as the menu described. For example Pad Thai was a soup. never have I ever seen that. When we let our waitress know, her response was sorry about that, want your check? Which we only saw her 4 times the whole time. I wasn't even sure what she looked like. Just gone down hill. We used to really like this place.

Amura's is a staple for my boyfriend and I. Never have we had a bad experience, ever! Typically we always sit at the bar order, order "purple haze saki" and then choose our sushi rolls. Nonetheless, the service, drinks & food are always brought out to perfection! Yes, we are DT Sanford locals and we have plenty of sushi restaurant options but Amura's is where we ALWAYS end up at when discussing our sushi options because we know we will not be disappointed. Well, we went last night and when asking our bartender if there were any sushi roll "chef special" of the night he advised no BUT did share the newest rolls recently added to the menu.

Clearly we took his advice on one of them. "The Crazy Papa" roll. needless to say it did not disappoint. We figured we'll try one of the newest rolls on each of our next visits.

Wow-poop veins in all of our shrimp. Yummy, right? I'm really not even sure what else there is to say here. You don't serve someone a $60 takeout order and not properly clean the shrimp. We like about 25 minutes away so I gave them a call and let them know and their response was that I could drive the food back to the restaurant to get a refund.

Great food. Great server ( Christian) but they cheaped out. Cheap plasticy plates and cheap bar style plastic containers for sauce. Overall vibe was Def not Lake Mary worthy or spending an avg of over $35 per meal. Also at 10 instead of locking door they shut off front light which made it darker. Just sloppy but. Good food
