I was searching for someone to recover data off a broken hard drive, and I have to admit reading some of these reviews I was having second thoughts about going with Frank. But from the first call, he was very detailed on the process compare to the other companies out there. So I decided to go with him and get the process started. Well, he didn't disappoint.

Chief Engineer Frank Villarreal is an extremely unprofessional individual. He sent a private message to my wife via linked in after she had posted her acquiring a position as a network engineer which said, "Congrats on the new role! I wish network engineers looked like you when I got into the business."

Advanced Data Recovery was an absolute joke of a service and the customer service was awful. Frank had my 2 hard drives for over 5 weeks, charged me the $150 analysis to never really receive a full report of what was recoverable and what was not recoverable as promised upon agreeing to their services. It took nearly 7 phone calls to ever really get a status, every week he told me he was working on it, only until week 5 did I get the true impression that he was actually working on the hard drive.
After Frank's final analysis he told me that the hard drive needed to be rebuilt in the clean room and would cost between $1500 and $2500. Upon this news I picked up the hard drives and took them to Kevin at Data Recovery Services on Blanco after reading his reviews on google, the reviews were completely accurate. Kevin recovered both hard drives in 2 days at the fraction of the cost Frank quoted me for the one hard drive.
