This company did work in my neighborhood. My neighbors yard looks like it was never touched. Mine on the other hand looks awful. When I called to ask that it be fixed they said they would send someone out. All they did was put grass seed over it. There is still a mound of dirt and it looks ridiculous as it's in my front yard. Not satisfied.

We have had ACD for over a year and the speeds have consistently been very strong. No issues, even with the heavy wind and rain storms. The technicians who installed the fiber cable and small box were professional and did a great job keeping the site clean. I was a bit hesitant at first but at this point have no regrets on making the switch. I've read other reviews and feel its worth mentioning, I am not an employee or connected with ACD in any way.

I've noticed the service might not be the most friendly but the times I've called for installation and setting up my online payment, they answer my questions and get the job done. Definitely worth checking out!

Great service! I have VoIP phones and rely heavily on high quality internet at my two pharmacies. The fiber from ACD has been wonderful. I experienced same day repair when a local construction project took out my service.

Excellent place to work if you are willing to put in the effort. Flexible schedule, need to come in at 9 and work to 5? No problem. Need to work extra one day and leave early another? Fine. Regular pay increases, large variety of positions from construction to project management to customer service. 401K, PTO, Health and Dental.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value All 5 star reviews are from employees. It's a bad company all around steve and kevan joke to work for. They steal conduits from companies and they dont permit alot of their work. They will take everything they can then dump you after work is done. Do not do business with them.

Poor customer service and lower quality internet connections is what ACD.net is all about. Several friends told me stories about almost comically-poor customer service and technical issues they had with ACD.net They dropped their service this year after realizing they could do much better by switching to another company, with one going to Metronet and the other Xfinity.

I am not an employee or shill for Metronet (I actually use AT&T), however, he informed me that their service is clearly a better value than ACD: much higher data speeds, a larger and more reliable fiber network, and a customer service department staffed with people who are responsive and actually care about their customer concerns!

Critical: Quality Numerous issues with poor quality and downtime. Customer service is poor, they sound irritated when you call with a problem! Pricing may seem competitive -- but they are actually overpriced. Several friends switched and wished they had dropped ACD net much sooner.

Update: still incredible customer service. Even by email. What I really love is how quickly they turn things around. I've paid a late bill several times, day and middle of the night, and my service was always restored within 5 min. No dumb processing time of 2-4 days & sometimes a week. Affordable pricing and accommodations, friendly staff, constant improvement of services, instant problem remediation (in my most recent experience).

Excellent service. Called with an outage on a Saturday morning, the problem (which required replacing some failed equipment on-site) was fixed in little over an hour. Competent, polite help and fast repair!

Horrible customer service, horrible service. Intermittent. They don't explain everything to you, don't work with you, don't send out invoices, wasn't even a month late on my final payment (that they didn't send an invoice for) and they sent it to a debt collector. Gave me a hard time when I tried to get a copy of my final invoice so I could enter it in my records.

Oh and when we were trying to get their service to work they blamed my phone provider for intermittent service. The speeds were slow, switched to a competitor and got 5x the speed both up and down for almost 1/2 the price.

A company run by two big children. One owner, will frequently go into the warehouse and destroy things like tvs, desks, trailers, boats, or anything else he can smash with heavy equipment in a temper tantrum. There is zero communication within the company and it is literally a constant problem. The workers are forced to work out of state often, most of the positive reviews are from their friends. Fake. In my opinion ACD is a joke. Terrible Internet and even worse customer service. Do not get tricked into signing a long contract, you will regret it.

Contacted ACD for residential internet going off of favourable broadbandnow.com reviews. My sales call was never answered after a miserable wait. I was instead thrown to a voicemail box. That promoted me to come here and check out general reviews. Glad I did. If any give my business to a company that doesn't want it bad enough to pick up the phone on a Wednesday afternoon. Next.

I contacted ACD.net for internet services. I do not have a phone line, and they assured me it was no problem. They also requested a credit card report. I have excellent credit, but after they ran my report, they requested a $150 deposit for services. This was never mentioned during my initial conversations as a potential outcome. So, after already being this far down the road, I provided them a $150 deposit.

After receiving the deposit, they called to set up an installation appointment. Turns, out it IS a problem if you do not have a phone line - they only provide DSL internet, and you MUST have a phone line to connect. Then they tried to make me upgrade my package to a phone line, after first lying to me about it! Furthermore, ACD.net isn't that 'nice local business' you are expecting, they are a SUBCONTRACTOR FOR AT&T! But, charge you MORE than what you would typically get if you just go with AT&T. Bottom line - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

If you're looking for residential internet service from a local ISP in mid or southeast Michigan, I'd recommend avoiding ACD.net: 1. Service installation was delayed, and I wasn't informed until after the tech was supposed to arrive. 2. Their estimate of the length of the line (which is a huge factor in the speed of your DSL service) was way off, and I was only able to get 3Mbps, which is not enough for streaming media services in 2015. 3.

I kept service for a week, while waiting to set up Comcast service. When I canceled I was charged a $150 ETF. After calling to complain they only offered to reduce it to $75. Anyway, it was a pretty awful experience overall, something I wouldn't have expected from a regional ISP, and one that I've done business with in the past.

Customer for more than 10 years. Problems the last few years with internet being frequently down and poor service response times. Discontinued service in October and received a bill this week for over $700 representing 6 months of unused service. They claim that they did not receive any shutoff notice, and have no way to know that no services were used. Why no bill for 6 months? Customer service was not helpfu. Avoid!l Have had no problems with Comcast Cable.
